I have not inspected a BISF property since about 2016 whilst working for Lloyds. It was their policy then to approve but subject to inspection by a Structural Engineer.
I am now in a position where friends have asked on behalf of their son who wants a larger “good value” property. It would be so easy to say “Don’t touch” but do Lloyds and other lenders still see these as mortgage-worthy?
I would welcome any feedback, positive or negative apart from “don’t offer advice to friends!”
Thank you
Stephen Quirk
