Building Surveyors and/or Architectural Technologists

Wessex Surveyors are looking to recruit Building Surveyors and/or Architectural Technologists to deal with current demand and develop new opportunities. We will consider a variety of arrangements including franchise, self-employed or employed.

We are an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors established in 2006 who pride ourselves on “putting the client first”. We currently cover much of Dorset, South Somerset and East Devon. Our success is built on our integrity and reputation.

Wessex Surveyors current main workload includes Home Surveys Level 2, Building Surveys Level 3, Defect Reports, Snagging Lists, Valuations, property dispute resolutions incl. party wall work, and expert witness reports. We are looking to extend our range of services going forwards.

Most of our clients are private individuals, but we also carry out work for various organisations.

The successful candidate will need to show knowledge and experience in most of our current practice areas, but also be able to work under their own initiative and be self-motivated. They will be expected to provide attention to detail and good customer service skills to communicate with both private and business clients.

The surveyor will have the full support of Wessex Surveyors staff, including a highly experienced surveyor, and needs to be a team player, supporting others and drawing from their experiences.

Pay and rewards will be commensurate with experience, qualifications and results. The right candidate will be considered for the role of Associate Director with a minimum wage of £50,000, after proven merit and due diligence.
